I have always looked with admiration to the pioneers of Plastic Surgery. They forged new ground through uncharted territory, and their contributions are the foundation of our modern surgical discipline. It has been a real honor to contribute to my colleagues through novel creativity. The instruments that I have designed and the surgical techniques that I have pioneered are inspired by these men.

What is on the Horizon?
Dr. Klapper is one of the first Plastic Surgeons to use the Davinci Robot system to perform surgery through minimized incisions.

He is a member of the Davinci Robot Team (the robotic system made famous for minimally invasive heart surgery) that pioneered the first plastic surgery procedures performed on a human patient. The future is certainly exciting for new applications with this high tech surgical tool. It may hold the potential for a more minimally invasive Plastic Surgery future.

It is an exciting time in Aesthetic Breast Surgery. Dr.Klapper had desinged a vertical breast marking device to assist those knowledgeable in the vertical (or short scar) mammaplasty techniques and for those surgeons who are learning.
